Birthdays & “Gotcha Days”

These days celebrate the beginning of your bond—and that love still matters.

You might choose to:

• Write a letter to your dog and place it in a keepsake box
• Cook a “memory meal,” inspired by a favorite treat (people-friendly)
• Walk their favorite route, carrying their collar or bandana
• Donate to an animal shelter or rescue in their name
• Light a candle and say their name aloud, offering gratitude for the joy they brought
